Karl Spain has been announced as the host of a brand new comedy club which is set to take place weekly in Limerick city. The award-winning comedian has teamed up with Dolans Presents to develop the new ‘Karlnival Comedy Club’

Led by the Hunt Museum supported by Limerick Arts Office, and Limerick City and County Council the events will include a curated exhibition on the life and career of Catherine Hayes; a video-installation documenting Hayes’ life projected onto the façade of her birthplace at 4 Patrick St, playing snippets of opera and song from her repertoire and a commemorative concert celebrating her life and career at St Mary’s Cathedral.

Dolans Pub is this evening the recipient of yet another award as they were named the Best Music Pub in the South West Region of Ireland at the Irish Pub Awards 2018.

Formed in 1995, Wheatus came to worldwide fame in 2000 with the release of their hit single ‘Teenage Dirtbag’. The single appeared in the movie Loser and the HBO miniseries Generation Kill and was most recently used as an acoustic opening for the anti-bully film Bully, and Netflix Original series Girlboss.

Since making her TV debut to millions in 2016, Aine Cahill’s career has skyrocketed. Plucked from a pub stage at Glastonbury to perform live on the BBC’s festival coverage, before Coldplay’s set on the Sunday night, she mesmerised viewers who could scarcely believe that she wasn’t already a star.

Dolans Presents have announced that, due to popular demand, Mick Flannery is set to play a headline gig at Dolans Warehouse on December 28th.
