The Lizberries, Tribute to The Cranberries

In the vibrant heart of Milan, The Lizberries came to life in 2010, beginning their journey to become the ultimate tribute to the iconic Irish rock band, The Cranberries.

This journey mirrors the footsteps of The Cranberries themselves, with a career spanning not only the vibrant Italian music scene, but also stages in Ireland, France, Switzerland, Romania, and the UK. With a voice that is strikingly close to the original and a dedication to authentically recreating the Cranberries sound, the band have earned themselves a distinguished place among tribute acts, solidifying their reputation as the best Cranberries tribute act on the global stage.

From the renowned Alcatraz in Milan to the prestigious Dolan's in Limerick, The Lizberries have graced stages that once hosted The Cranberries,

creating an atmosphere where fans can relive the magic of the original band. Their extensive repertoire and faithful rendition of Cranberries classics ensure that audiences are treated to a mesmerizing two hour performance that captures the spirit of the legendary Irish rockers. The band's connection to the Cranberries'

hometown is evident in their four tours of Ireland, where they took center stage in the most significant venues, notably Dolan's of Limerick. The Lizberries' commitment to their craft extends beyond the stage, as they actively participate in national gatherings of the official Cranberries fan club and collaborate on initiatives with Cranberries Italia.

Looking to the future, The Lizberries are on the brink of creating a unique theatre show that delves into the history of the Cranberries. This ambitious project, in collaboration with an esteemed Irish Dance Academy and a renowned Italian DJ, promises to be a visual and auditory feast, offering fans a deeper connection to the Cranberries' legacy

CIVIC

CIVIC – an origin story since time immemorial, the five-piece came together in 2018 through
the traps of the Melbourne music scene. Bonding over a shared love of tightly coiled riffs and
a collective musical ethos, they channeled this into their first EP New Vietnam. In a head
rush recording session, the 7 tracks were slammed out in a single day, with the underground
hit going on to sell out of several pressings worldwide. Making a name for themselves
through the intensity of their live shows, their  New Vietnam launch would become one of
those folklore moments within Melbourne.

Taking to the stage with a contoured cheek and darkened eyes, McCullough’s glamoured
stage presence beamed and boomed over the sold-out crowd. Cutting through the scene with
cult-like vigor, their garnered momentum would lead them to a string of sold-out 7 inches, a
European tour, a spot on the beloved Golden Plains Festival, a newfound home on the
revered Flightless Records, and a fan in punk icon Henry Rollins, “I am digging that
band… not one bad track in their recorded catalog”.

With momentum in the tank, they took to various locations across Victoria to get the beds
of Future Forecast down. From Richmond’s historic Bakehouse Studios in all its grandeur
to DIY run storage shed on High St, there’s a consideration for the new and old on this
album. Paying homage to the classics, but pivoting on them with an avant-charged edge. It’s
raw, searing guitars; pummeling rhythms; driving bass; with vocals that lock into and
synergise with their wall of sound. Balanced by the raucous and restrained weaving of
melodies and textures, the imbued sense of nostalgia, and the vocal variation which broadens
their sound past any one genre label. There’s the horn fuelled drive of album opener ‘Radiant
Eye’, the power-pop ladden hook of “As Seen On Tv”, the emotively atmospheric and
vocally subdued “Sunday Best”, culminating with closer “Come To Know”, before ending in
a tightly wound splay of feedback and groove.

Train

Train Live at the Castle Limerick July 7th. Strictly over 19’s

Train is a multi-GRAMMY Award-winning, diamond-selling band from San Francisco that has had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and 13 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. Train's climb to the top began in 1994, as the original 5-member band tenaciously built a loyal hometown following, leading up to their debut self-titled album released by Columbia in 1998. The tumbling wordplay of "Meet Virginia'' gave them their first unlikely radio hit, and 2001’s Drops of Jupiter broke them to multi-platinum status thanks to the double-GRAMMY-winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40, has been certified RIAA 7x platinum, and earned the 2001 GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Song. The group won another GRAMMY in 2011 for their global hit “Hey, Soul Sister'' from their multi-platinum album Save MeSan Francisco (2009), which was the No.1 best-selling smash and most downloaded single of 2010, achieved RIAA Diamond status in 2021 and now 11x platinum, and in 2022 surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. Train has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide, with multiple platinum/gold citations, including three GRAMMY Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and dozens of other honors. They’ve had 24 Top 10 songs across the Billboard charts and six Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart including Drops of Jupiter (2001), My Private Nation (2003), California 37 (2012), Bulletproof Picasso (2014), For Me, It's You (2016), and a girl a bottle a boat (2017). This summer, Train is taking over amphitheaters across the country on a co-headline tour with REO Speedwagon, and most recently, released a new album, Live at Royal Albert Hall, recorded live from their sold-out, debut performance at the iconic and historic Royal Albert Hall in London.

Train frontman, Pat Monahan, partakes in other ventures outside of music, including his award-winning wine portfolio, Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co, which was created in 2011 and has sold over 10 million bottles and won over 100 medals. Proceeds from his wine business support Family House, a San Francisco charity that supports families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.  Monahan has appeared on television and in film with credits that include the 2021 Hallmark Channel original movie, Christmas in Tahoe, inspired by Train’s album of the same name, which he executive produced and starred, Dr. Ken90210, CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I.The VoiceAmerican Idol, and The Bachelor.

The Specials LTD.

When The Specials fractured and split in 1981, they left behind a musical legacy which has arguably remained unrivalled. The band pioneered a multicultural, anti-racial ethos and created a unique image and sound which combined punk, ska and reggae music with an acerbic lyrical commentary on the state of Thatcher’s Britain in the late 70’s and early 80’s. With the sad loss of Terry Hall at way too young an age, the band are no longer active but The Specials Limited faithfully recreate their passion and energy, bringing back memories to those who were there first time around and showing younger fans what th missed.

The Specials Limited are a 9-piece band full of passion, energy and excitement. Their set includes such hits as Gangsters, Too Much Too Young, Ghost Town, Stereotype and Rat Race as well as fan favourite album tracks such as Hey Little Rich Girl, Do The Dog, Man at C&A and Vote For Me.

Since they formed in 2018, they have performed countless shows at some of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious venues. These include multiple sell out shows at London’s 229 and 100 Club, where they performed the bands first album in full as well as a second set of album tracks and single releases. Th have also headlined a number of festivals including The Isle of Wight Scooter Rally

The Blades

The Blades Live in Dolans Limerick July 19th 2025. Strictly over 18’s

The Blades Formed in 1977 at a time where punk ruled Dublin, with bands like The Radiators from Space being among the talk of the Irish music scene.

Originally with Paul Cleary on Bass, his brother Lar on Guitar and drummer Pat Larkin completing the lineup. The Blades released two 7” singles on Energy Records with this lineup ‘Hot For You’ (1980) and ‘Ghost Of A Chance’  (1981) the later of which was performed on The Late Late Show that year.

Around this time they played a 6 week residency with U2 in the Baggott Inn with the bands swapping headline slots every week as both bands attempted to take their careers to the next level.

This lineup was short lived however with Pat and Lar moving on, allowing main songwriter Paul to switch to guitar and recruit Brian Foley and Jack Reilly on Bass and Drums respectively as well as adding a brass section.

The new line up started off where the last one left releasing the singles ‘The Bride Wore White’ and  ‘Revelations of Heartbreak’ in 1982.  This lead to Paul Cleary being named as the Songwriter of the year ahead of Bono and Van Morrison as well as winning Single of the year for ‘The Bride Wore White’ and topping it off with the Most Promising act award at the Hot Press Awards in 1982.

Reekus Records released their first album ‘The Last Man in Europe’ in January 1985 as well as the singles collection ‘Raytown Revisited’  late the same year. Raytown Revisited is considered essential listening and is included in the book ‘101 Irish Albums to hear before you die’ by Tony Clayton-Lea of the Irish Times.

Soon after the release the band split up as they became disillusioned with the music industry and they played their last gig together in The Boxing Club in Drogheda in January 1986.

Since then Paul Cleary played with The Partisans as well as releasing his Debut Solo Album ‘Crooked Town’ on Reekus Records in 2001 while Pat Larkin played with ‘The Peridots’ and Brian Foley with ‘The Mountain Climbers’.
